With two decades’ experience in scholarly communications I have a deep appreciation for the changing pressures on publishers, funders, researchers and research institutions, combined with leadership, project, and management skills honed across not-for-profit and commercial enterprises of all scales. Society publishing is my bag, as I believe that not-for-profit, community-led publishers have an opportunity to play a bigger role, making sure that scholarly communication is fit for the next generation of researchers.
